Can You Believe These Girls Are Twins
Twins that look like this don’t come around too often, so rarely that most people have a hard time believing they are related. One with ginger hair and a light skin tone, the other with dark curls and a dark skin tone.
Lucy and Maria have a mother who is half Jamaican and a father who is Caucasian. When they were born back 1997 everyone, including the midwife, was shocked to see different skin tones on each baby. Now with both of the twins off to college none of their classmates believed they were twin, until they saw this in national news across the UK.
What are the odds of this happening? If 1 parent is Caucasian and the other is bi-racial, the odds are still just 500-1 of the children having different complexions.
