This geothermal lagoon is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. Blue Lagoon is a 40 minute drive from the capital.

This far north village in Sweden is best known for their annual ice hotel, open from December – April. The hotel can host over 100 guests, and most guest spend a lot of time at the ice bar, where the ice glasses keep all drinks nice and chill.
The biggest drawback of the hotel, is the lack of heating and plumbing, in fact all washroom facilities are in a neighbouring building. All suites are consistently 23 °F (- 5 °C), you’ll be thankful for the polar tested sleeping bags in each room.
